Have you ever thought of visiting Thailand?
We were able to visit 12 countries and 28 cities in the 12 months we traveled Asia. One thing we wanted to make sure we did was keep track of all the good, bad, and funny things that happened to us. Reporting these situations back to our wonderful listeners and viewers was so very important to us. How can we encourage you to visit a country without best preparing your for it. Right?!?
We lived in Thailand for 5 months. Would we go back?
So that is exactly what we are doing for you today… again! We spent 5 of our 12 months in this one country. Let’s go back and re-visit our time in Thailand. Candidly we tell you all the good, bad, and funny things that happened to us. Thailand is one of our very favorite countries in Asia for good reason. We don’t leave anything out in this episode. The good things like, the amazing food, people, sites, and tea. The bad like, the taboo tourism, and most expensive city in the county. Last but not least, the funny like, the many street food things on sticks, and spirit house. We could easily live in Thailand, and hope after this episode you will see why.
We filmed a lot while we lived there, and put it all on YouTube for you. Below is the Thailand playlist. We hope you find these videos helpful if you plan to visit.
We mentioned in the show about our guide to Thai healthcare episode. You can find it below.
In today’s episode, we are in a bit of rare form, we share with you our date night event of the week, a boring beverage of the week, and dive into details of our experiences in Thailand. We don’t hold back on this candid episode where we give you the good, bad, and funny situations we encountered living 5 months in one of our favorite countries, Thailand. We discuss the food, people, crazy transportation, the taboo, and the amazing sites to see. We can’t wait to return, and hope you visit as well!

Thank you guys so much for sharing your experiences in Chiang Mai. You helped to keep me motivated for my move over (coming up May 7,2019). I have a friend who has lived there for seven years and LOVES it. He kinda talked it up a lot, and for a long time I really didn’t think what he was saying could possibly be true. Then I started exploring the internet, looking at blogs and watching YouTube videos — all kinds of videos — and decided to give it a shot. Your videos from your time there were so honest, so real. I feel like I am truly ready to hit the ground running in 78 days (and counting)
If you ever come back to Chiang Mai, or Thailand in general, let me know.
Best of luck to you in all your future travels!
We are so glad you found our videos and this podcast helpful! We LOVE Chiang Mai. We will let you know when we return FOR SURE!!! Let us know how you get settled. How exciting!!
