Have you ever felt in your life that you’re just spinning your wheels? Going through the motions and not really living? That is exactly how our friend Amber Baldwin felt before embarking on a journey of a lifetime. After 5 years of dreaming of a life of full-time RV travel, she took a leap of faith. She sold everything, including her house, purchased an RV, loaded up her puppy, and never looked back.
A fellow YouTuber, and now wonderful friend, we reached out to Amber asking her to be on our show from the suggestion of our other friend Kevin Martin. You may have heard his episode previously about his new adventure from Lawyer to the full-time traveler via Remote Year. He told us we just had to visit with Amber about her full-time RV life, and he was so right.
We are thrilled to have her on the show for you today. Amber is an inspiring, kind, funny, and loving person whom we connected immediately. Founder of Story Chasing, perpetual solo traveler, writer, and entrepreneur. Amber gave up the 9-5 to fulfill a dream of traveling full-time and to document the stories along her journey as she meets people on the road. Her background of 30 years in corporate finance and accounting has allowed her to share her knowledge with wannabe travelers on how to finance a full-time travel lifestyle and start an online business on the road.
She’s on a quest to visit all 300 of National Geographic Guide to Scenic Highways and Byways in the United States and document her travels via videography on YouTube and through StoryChasing.com.
